How can she be so fit when eating a full plate of carbonara like that? The portion on her plate could have easily fed me twice. I mean what is fun about eating too much anyway? You feel, miserable after and it will get you fat, but not this girl, she is super tiny…

Why is it that some people don’t exercise, can eat all they want and don’t get fat? Is it hereditary? Do we have different metabolism mechanisms? What else can it be?

Because I started a job at an online casino creating one online casino bonus a day. My movements were restricted. I worked in shifts and in order to stay fit I needed efficient exercises that wouldn’t take much up of my free time and would work instantly.

While researching online I learned about an Ectomorph, Endomorph, and Mesomorph. Don’t worry these aren’t alien breeds of dogs but three different body types also called somatotypes to which every one of us can relate. Let’s look deeper into this.

Ectomorph

According to American psychologist William Sheldon, there are three main body types based on skeleton structure and body composition.

It can be that you can’t classify yourself within one of these three, then you are probably a mixture of two.

Long limbs, skinny and tall people are categorized as ectomorphs. This entails a lean body, fast metabolism, and being blessed with an easily maintained body weight.

The advantage is; they can eat whatever they want without gaining unstructured blubber. The downside is their almost inability to enlarge muscular tissue. If the ectomorph does want to build more muscles, he is going to have to eat a lot more. Sometimes it can even be an extra meal a day, otherwise, he will lose his acquired strength as quickly as it came.

Rather than focusing on isolation exercises, it is highly advisable to go for compound moves as they give better results. Examples would be crunches and pushups, yup everybody’s favorite right? These moves activate more than one muscle and are therefore extremely effective,

whereas the isolation ones focus on one group only. Meaning you have to work hard, lose valuable time and the outcome might not be what you envisioned.

Add proteins and carbohydrates to your diet, as they are the stepping stones to create and keep your muscle build-up. Don’t indulge yourself in fatty types of food as this will slow down the shaping progress.

Endomorphs

Endomorphs on the contrary will get fat by looking at a piece of cake for too long as a matter of speech.

Characterized by being short, broad, and an out-of-proportion belly and hip area where fat is concentrated. Thanks to your genes, your body stores fat in times when food is scarce. A very handy feature in these times of luxury and wealth, don’t you agree?

On the bright side, endomorphs are naturally stronger and build muscles faster. Stay away from sugary, fatty food. Endomorphs! Your sole focus needs to be on burning fat.

Go for interval training, think about the 7-minute workout. This has been proven to achieve great outcomes regarding weight loss.

The good news is that long cardio workouts aren’t really efficient in the short term. However as with weight lifting, when consistently carried out over long periods of time it will definitely have a great effect. More good news this body type shouldn’t focus on crunches as they don’t do the trick in absolving fat.

The way to a fit body isn’t an easy one. Make sure to generally eat proteins and stay away from carbohydrates. Some sources even mention that it is best to lower your calorie intake to 1750 calories a day for the greatest results.

Mesomorph

Formed as if they are training for a few hours every day while eating whatever they want, Mesomorphs are the most envied. Imagine if they go to the gym every day, they would transform into bodybuilders within a week while the other types struggle not to drown in their own sweat. Everything seems so easy for them.

Cardio and strengthening exercises are all good for you. You sculpt your outer temple in no time… There is no need to ensure to include proteins and or carbohydrates in your diet to maintain your shape. Whereas Endomorphs need to lower their daily calory intake to 1750 calories to lose weight, the Mesomorph can take in as much as 2500 calories a day with great ease. His shape won’t be affected and will remain athletic.

Look at that difference in calorie intake! That is a difference of 750 calories a day. This translates into nearly two portions of lasagna with a massive amount of crusty browned cheese on top.

The most envied somatotype; the Mesomorph

I do believe the above sounds very plausible but find it a bit strange that there hasn’t been made any difference between man and woman. Male and female bodies are unmistakably opposites. Our hormones are wildly different.

Except for the body types, I believe that bad habits influence our bodies too. We all know that regular eating is key to good health. What about people that work different shifts? Their eating habits will be affected regardless of what group they belong to.

Digitalization of the world implies things to be done faster and from anywhere. Working from home is very topical, due to the current pandemic. Homework minimalizes movement during working hours and care needs to be taken to keep in shape. Back in the day are grandparents made up the majority of the physical hard-working generation. Many farmers got worked from dusk till dawn, they didn’t have a lot of trouble controlling their figure or weight. To live on a farm required automatically that you had to be fit to fulfill the daily tasks.

In conclusion, I believe there are more aspects to take into consideration instead of only relying on the physics of different body types.
