Amirdrassil, Hope of the Dream is a new nine-boss raid in World of Warcraft 10.2. It takes place at the top of the new World Tree, Amirdrassil, and features nine bosses to deal with. Get ready for the real challenge, as Amirdrassil has a lot to surprise you with. We are here to help you get started and share the key info about the bosses of this raid in normal mode. So, keep reading to have your questions answered. If you want to go straight into heroic or mythic mode, then we recommend doing this with a team of pro raiders. Amirdrassil Raid carry runs are available in Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty levels and will help you achieve a desired ilvl with ease.

Gnarlroot

Gnarlroot is the first boss of the raid. To defeat him, you need to survive two phases. In phase one, the boss infuses nearby earth with Shadowflame, making it explode after three seconds and spawning Tainted Lashers. Also, the boss marks a few players with a debuff that deals damage to nearby raid members and explodes after six seconds in a 15-yard radius. Finally, phase one ends with a massive AoE attack that deals decent damage to everyone and applies a DoT for ten seconds.

Phase two starts with Gnarlroot using Doom Root on himself, which decreases all incoming damage by 99%, knocking attackers away. Next, Gnarlroot creates a zone that slows down everyone inside it by 60% and deals massive damage every second. We want to highlight the spell “Splintering Charcoal.” Players who catch a splinter must enter the Corrupted Soil zone, effectively removing one stack of Doom Roots. At the end of the encounter, Gnarlroot deals decent AoE to everyone but takes 100% additional incoming damage for 20 seconds.

Igira the Cruel

Igira the Cruel is the second boss in the Amirdrassil raid. She unleashes Blistering Spears to restrict how far the victims can flee. Igira the Cruel uses Marked for Torment at 100 energy to burn sections in her chamber, tormenting players who stand within them. The rewards for defeating Igira the Cruel are worthwhile since, starting with this boss, players will be able to receive class-level tokens in the form of Eldritch, Mystical, Revered, and Zenith Dream Seeds. In addition, among the loot, there is an agile DPS trinket Bandolier of Twisted Blades, shoulders Drakestalker’s Trophy Pauldrons, etc.

Volcoross

Volkoross is the third boss, a colossal lava serpent hell-bent on consuming the Emerald Dream. The fight with this boss has no phases and is essentially a dummy. The main thing is that the tanks are in a melee zone; otherwise, the boss starts sending huge fire AoE waves. Other participants in the raid need to avoid the Volcanic Disgorge lava streams that move across the platform and run together while throwing two large magma balls to create a Hellboil.

Council of Dreams

Council of Dreams is the next boss after Volcoross. The encounter includes three mini-bosses that you should defeat simultaneously. When one of the mini-bosses reaches 1HP, they begin to cast Rebirth. Depending on the difficulty of the raid, successfully completing the cast will restore 30%, 50%, or 100% of its health points. Each of these mini-bosses has their own set of spells. For example, Urctos casts Blinding Rage, a 20-second AoE damage spell that affects everyone. Aerwynn summons Constricting Thicket, a skill that slows players by 7% and deals massive damage for four seconds. Winning this boss fight rewards raiders with valuable trinkets, such as the Gift of Ursine Vengeance and Pip’s Emerald Friendship Badge.

Larodar, Keeper of the Flame

The Larodar boss fight is divided into two phases, similar to the Gnarlroot boss encounter. During the first stage, Larodar will spawn Fiery Treants and Scorching Roots to help him fight and spread the Burning Grounds zone. Players must reduce Larodar’s health below 40%. The boss then begins to cast Consuming Flames around himself, drawing everyone in. When the casting is complete, Larodar transforms into the Avatar of Ash, and the second phase begins. During this phase, the boss casts several types of DoTs on the players, including Flash Fire and Searing Ash. Raiders must defeat the boss before their healers run out of mana or are unable to deal with this debuff, which leads to a wipe.

Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle

Nymue, Weaver of the Cycle, is the sixth boss and one of Eonar’s first guardians in Emerald Dream in Wellspring Temple. There are no phases or intermissions in the encounter. Instead, the mechanics of the battle revolve around her energy level. Nymue casts a Continuum spell at 100% energy, which fires beams at random locations and begins to pulse with energy, dealing damage every second for ten seconds. Verdant Matrix is revealed once the cast is complete.

Smolderon

Smolderon is the seventh boss in Amirdrassil, The Dream’s Hope raid. This encounter comes in phases: The Firelord’s Fury and World in Flames. During phase one, Smolderon uses Emberscar to mark his enemies with the Brand of Damnation ability and ignites them with Overheat. He also has an energy mechanic. Upon reaching 100 energy, Smolderon slams Emberscar into the ground, causing bursts of fire all around the arena.

Phase two starts when Smolderon gathers 100 energy. The boss starts using a few new spells, including Blazing Soul, Heating Up, and Devour Essence. When he uses Devour Essence, players can increase their damage and healing by intercepting and consuming essences when the boss throws this weapon on the platform. This is the best time for using Bloodlust or Time Warp.

Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame

This druid boss is the last one who stands against raiders who try to stop Fyrakk from burning Amirdrassil. He has four forms:

  • Humanoid
  • Moonkin
  • Owl
  • Tree of Flame

Tindral will alternate between his humanoid and each of his druid forms throughout the entire battle in a specific order. When in humanoid form, the boss casts Mass Entanglement to damage opponents and root them. He casts Fire Beams and Sunfire while in Moonkin form, etc.

Fyrakk the Blazing

Fyrakk the Blazing is the ninth boss of Amirdrassil. His goal is to burn down the new World Tree, Amirdrassil, and remake the Azeroth in flames. The fight with Fyrakk the Blazing comes in three phases:

  • Phase one — Players need to stop Fyrakk from corrupting the Heart of Amirdrassil, by destroying the barrier in less than 30 sec before it disappears.
  • Phase two — The boss employs the spells Fyr’alath’s Bite, Blaze, and Burning Presence from phase one. Players have to keep Spirits of Kaldorei and Darnassian Ancients alive by healing them and destroying Flamespawns on sight.
  • Phase three — The players’ primary objective is to defend seeds from attacks by Fyrakk. The seeds give users a shielding power that protects them from the Apocalypse Roar boss’s attacks.

Fyrakk’s loot rewards are worth your time because they include a rare trinket Augury of the Primal Flame and very rare customization Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Blazing.
