We listed in this article the best improvements Windows 11 got. These include the revamped Start Menu and Action Center.
A revised Start menu
The most notable feature in Windows 11 is its new launcher-style floating menu. The new Start menu is located directly in the center of the taskbar, unlike the old Start menu. The pop-up design allows pinned and recommended apps to coexist with your favorite browser search queries like tall women dating or Facebook groups. The guidelines have been very helpful so far. Because of this, you can instantly access all recent documents, photos, and apps.
You can also hover your cursor above the search menu to view a list of recommended applications based on previous searches. Windows 11’s newly designed Start menu is our favorite. It responds quickly, efficiently addresses your queries, and delivers the best results in just seconds.
If you are unhappy with the Start menu’s new design, you can opt for the Windows 10 Start Menu with live tiles support.
Addition of a new action center.
Windows 11’s Action Center is the second best feature to us. It is built in the same style as you could see on mobile systems and uses the same design language. You can now open the Action Center by simply pressing the volume, WiFi, or battery buttons. You can access all controls such as volume and brightness. You can also add radio buttons, as mentioned above.
It is even more exciting that Bluetooth connections are now much faster, and you don’t have to go into settings to pair your device. It also features an icon-based notification style with lots of space for responding directly there. Microsoft deserves praise for making the Action Center faster than Windows 10’s clunky, slow one.
Universal multimedia control
You can now control all media playback using Windows 11’s Action Center. The Action Center can display any video you want, including a YouTube video or a Spotify playlist. Universal media control is another great feature in Windows 11.
Enhanced Explorer
Many Windows Explorer users were unhappy with the way it worked in the last version at the same time, they opposed any changes to it. Most people argue that the Explorer should not be altered if it functions properly. We are happy to tell you that the new Explorer is fully functional and is ready to use. The Explorer now has new colored icons and a context menu.
Microsoft also retains the options folder menu if you are curious. You can also refer to the previous menu items by clicking on “Show advanced options” at the bottom.
Better Microsoft’s online store
The Microsoft Store is another great feature of Windows 11. It was completely rebuilt and now supports Win32 and.NET, UWP, and Electron. The new Microsoft Store also offers themes and extensions for Microsoft Edge.
Although let’s be honest, nobody liked the Microsoft Store in the past because it was slow and floppy, the new version looks fantastic. In the current version, the date of the latest app update is not yet available. The new Microsoft Store will allow Android apps, but compatibility will be added later.
