When you click on Meet now, it will automatically create a virtual meeting group. Participants can click on the link to join the meeting, just like Zoom. How to Create a Video Chat With Meet now in Windows 10
First of all, make sure that Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge is your default browser. Then follow these steps:
Step 1: Click on the Meet now icon in your taskbar.
Step 2: It will open a new pop-up box. Here you can click on Meet now or Join a Meeting.
Step 3: When you click on the Meet now button, it will create a new virtual meeting room on skype and generate a link. So that others can join it.
Step 4: Click on Start Meeting. Click on Copy Link and share the link with others.
You’ll have to allow Skype so that it can access your webcam and microphone. Click “Allow” to give it access.

How to Join an Existing Video Chat With Meet now
To join an existing video call, you will need a join link or meeting code, shared by the host.
It will look something like this: http://join.skype.com/E3rEDy6x8z1
Step 1: Once you have the link or code, click on the Meet now button in your taskbar > select Join a meeting.
Step 2: Now, you have to enter the link shared by the host and click on Join. You can also use the meeting code.
Step 3: Allow permission for the camera and microphone by clicking on Allow button.
How to Disable the Meet Now Button From Settings
It is very easy to disable the Meet now feature in Windows 10.
Step 1: Open Windows settings with Win + I button.
Step 2: Now go to Personalization > Taskbar. Scroll down and then click on Turn system icons on or off.
Step 3: Turn off the Meet Now feature here and the icon will be disabled from the taskbar.

Can I Remove Meet Now?
There is no direct option to remove the Meet Now feature in Windows 10. However, you can disable it in the taskbar from the taskbar settings.
