Naruto is undoubtedly one of the most passionate manga and anime series out today, at least in terms of popularity. This has a lot to do with the series’ main character’s beginnings, which are dark and sad. The others characters, as well as their fascinating stories, play a role in this.
If you’d ask me, I have no regrets about watching it, and I never will. The battles are incredible, the story is fantastic, and I adore all the characters. While Naruto Shippuden includes some of the most epic battles and introduces a slew of new characters, every Naruto fan should not forget the first major plot arc. Some of Naruto’s most imaginative and extremely intense battles occur when he is younger. Now is the time to go over the top Naruto fights sequences from this story period, in no particular order.
Sasuke vs. Naruto
Let’s start with Naruto and Sasuke’s juicy friendship. After so many highs and lows, the anime couldn’t have ended on a more fitting note. Even though the threats of Kaguya and Madara were no longer present, Sasuke and Naruto still had a score to settle. As their ideals clash, the two fight in a battle that manages to strike a perfect balance between spectacle and emotional impact.
Pain vs. Jiraya
Jiraiya could have gotten out of Amegakure if he had wanted to. But he had to learn the truth about Pain, which Konohagakure needed to know. As a result, he put up a brave fight without moving his hands for most of the battle. After entering Sage Mode, he demonstrated a wide variety of Jutsu and managed to take down three of Pain’s body parts. Despite losing one arm, Jiraiya successfully captured the Animal Path and wrote a coded message for the Leaf shinobi.
Obito vs. Kakashi
Following Obito’s use of Kamui to transfer Kakashi into his dimension, the two fight in one of the most brilliantly animated fights in the series. Kakashi beats Obito by thrusting his arm through his chest with a Chidori strike, interspersed with flashbacks to their childhood bond.
Itachi vs. Sasuke
Sasuke hunts down his brother Itachi after years of training and challenges him in a fatal one-on-one battle. The match that follows is one of the most emotionally charged in anime history, and the shock at the end will astound first-time viewers.
Zabuza vs. Squad 7
This is one of the first serious battles in the series’ history. Squad 7 was tasked with escorting a bridge-builder back to the Land of Waves. And then a water ninja, first two Chunin, then the rogue Jonin Zabuza, assaulted squad 7. Kakashi used his Sharingan eye and some rapid water Jutsu after Naruto and Sasuke worked as a seamless team to outmaneuver their attacker.
That concludes my top Naruto Shippuden battles. These battles are what makes Naruto so fascinating. Even though new animes are launched, Naruto holds a special place in my heart, which is why I would watch it again and over again.
